It is an honour and a great pleasure to be with seven ( 7 ) staff that devotes their lives
to educating children. Dedicated staff works in attaining our goals, objectives, vision
and mission for the betterment of the school. I continually inspired by the dedication
and commitment of the teachers and learners in facing the challenges in the world of
improvement.
To be with our pupils makes me feel delighted. They are equally
compassionate and friendly. It is indeed creating a friendly environment promotes a
friendly learning environment.

SCHOOL’S CURRENT SITUATION

C
Way back 1980, Sitio Dumaliguia had no established school. According H
to one of the pioneers of this Barangay, Mr. Conrado G. Abellera, Children
need to study. A
They went to study at nearby municipality and barangay. Years passed, P
forth from Dumaliguia to Darubba and Runruno, Mr. Conrado Abellera as one T
of the Sector Kagawad of Dumaliguia suggested to Martin Rafael, Barangay
Captain to organize classes in Dumaliguia. The request was grant by the late E
Vice Mayor Lorenzo Lucero and donated 4800 sq.m. lot for the school. R
Through the help of Mayor Bernardo Pacis, they solicited materials for
construction of the classroom building to Gov. Natalia Dumlao. In 1984,
building was constructed by the community as their counterpart. 2
The first teachers was Mrs. Evangeline S. Temario who handled Grades
I & II succeeded by Mrs. Rebecca Monsanto and Mrs. Alejandra Balallo.
Because of increasing enrolment, a class of Grade III & IV was organized in
the school year 1998-1999. Year 2004, other combination classes Grade V &
VI were opened. At present the school has no combination classes with an
enrolment of 144. At present, the school was headed by a Teacher In-
Charge,Rosalie D. Gecobe, with seven (7) permanent teachers and one (1) FCF
funded.
As of now, Dumaliguia Elementary School is one of the performing
schools in Quezon District.

Enrolment

From 2016, the number of male enrolees has significantly increased, while
female enrolees did not change. This can be attributed to the employment offered to
the community by the FCF Company.

Nutritional Status

According to the data from the baseline and endline reports, there is a fall of
number of severely-wasted. From 3 who were severely wasted last June 2017, only 1
retained his/her severely-wasted nutrition status. Furthermore, during the baseline,
there are 15 pupils who were assessed as wasted, but during the end, only 8 remained
wasted and the others were normalized.
However, the number of overweight did not change.
