HI-PRECISION DIAGNOSTIC: SENSITIVE AND SPECIFIC

The Philippines remains at low risk for COVID-19, though Metro Manila is already back

to moderate risk as cases rise. Since President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. stated in a media interview

on Wednesday, August 17, that he would "likely" prolong the proclamation of a state of public

health emergency in the country owing to the pandemic until the end of 2022., we need

efficient ways on detecting this disease. Hi-Precision Diagnostic offers an efficient and cost-

effective test with high sensitivity and specificity.

According to the Department of Health (DOH) (2022), there are 3,848,449 total cases in

the Philippines as of 9:00 a.m. on August 20, 2022. More than half of them went unreported on

the day the disease occurred. This is highly concerning since we lack the capability to diagnose

the illness immediately with sufficient sensitivity and specificity. As I notice this, I am concerned

that we have not yet reached the level of technology that we are thinking. However, after

seeing the Hi-Precision Diagnostic video, I was amazed that they have the advance technology

we are needing. It is fast, efficient, and reasonably priced. They are one of the country's largest

medical laboratories, providing a wide range of services including regular laboratory testing,

imaging, multi-specialty doctor's clinics, and laboratory tests that are not widely available

across the country. As far as I can tell, they are the technological trailblazers in the field of

medicine in our country. They are the leading medical laboratory that provides low-cost high-

tech solutions for our medical demands.

As we all know, not everyone has access to high-quality services and technology,

especially in this time of pandemic. I am grateful that, in the middle of a pandemic, we have a

medical laboratory in the Philippines that provides high-quality testing that we needed. Their

findings are also available online, which is very recommended today, as contactless transactions

are the safest approach to prevent the disease.
