FURBOLG
"FACED WITH THE UNEXPECTED ATTACKS BY DEMONS, UNDEAD
and their own people, the furbolgs joined the fight,
putting their generations of hunting experience to
more violent purposes. Formidable warriors, they’ve
always been. Formidable soldiers, well, that is a newer
concept. Some hired themselves as mercenaries to
forces on both sides."
- Brann Bronzebeard, Lands of Conflict
The furbolgs are a peaceful, ursine folk that dwell in the
forests of Kalimdor and Northrend. Victimized by the
Burning Legion and the Scourge, they work towards
restoring their woodland homes to their former majesty.

FALLEN TO CORRUPTION
For eons, the furbolgs worshipped Ursoc and Ursol, the
Wild Gods that gave their lives defending the world from
the Burning Legion in ancient days. Tragically, many
tribes were corrupted by fel magic during the Legion's
second invasion, and not even the greatest druids or
shaman were able to escape that dark influence. These
corrupted tribes still war with their untainted kin, despite
the Legion's defeat at Mount Hyjal.
When a furbolg leaves their tribe, it's often in search of
an artifact, power, or ally capable of cleansing their forest
or restoring their corrupted kin. It's with a heavy heart
that these folk leave for such an adventure—for there is
no guarantee that their tribe will even be alive by when
