MC 1: Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to be your emcee in today’s
webinar. I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of you. We appreciate you,
taking time off your busy schedule. Thank you for joinining us in today’s activity. I am
Dannielyn Nieves, a BSN II student of St. Anthony’s College. Accompanied by…
MC 2: Good afternoon, I am JM Molina, also a BSN II student, I am very happy to be co-
emceeing this afternoon’s webinar. It is an honor for us to have a nursing professional who
has a great personality, serving the people with his expertise in the profession, and now,
sharing with us his knowledge and experiences regarding the topic we will be discussing
today.
To start with, let us all feel the presence of our Almighty God as we offer Him a prayer to be
led by Joyce Bermudez, a BSN II Student and to be followed by the singing of the
Philippine National Anthem.

I would like to acknowledge the participants of this webinar and to the participants
streaming live via SAC – Nursing Department Facebook page.
Currently we have a total of ____ participants in this zoom meeting\ and a total
of____ participants tuning in on our Facebook live.
Welcome! I hope you are all doing great and I hope that you are all safe amidst this
pandemic.
Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, let us all lend our ears and open our hearts
to the message of our beloved Dean of the Nursing Department, Dean Aris Kendell

The digital citizen and digital nursing students are now among us and so we need to consider
if the nursing workforce are ready for gaming part of their educational needs. Upon
completion, the attendees will be able to:
 Define gamification in nursing education.
 Determine the extent of motivation through engagement.
 Promote incentive and retention, while progressing through mastery.
 Determine boundary between gaining knowledge and gaining points during
gamification.
MC 2: At this juncture, it is time for us to get to know our resource speaker. May I call on

talk regarding Gamification in Nursing Education. We the student nurses and our clinical
instructors are very glad and grateful for having you here today in sharing your knowledge
and experiences to further guide us in our path in achieving our dreams. I WOULD LIKE TO
