Health Emergency - I try to maintain a healthy standard of diet and exercise, but no matter the
case there is still a chance I may get sick during this semester. Something I would like to do is
stay ahead of the course work in this project so that I might be able to withstand taking a day or
two of rest should I get sick. If all else fails I would need to adjust my project plan and contact
my client.
Technical/Laptop emergency - In this case, I will keep some extra money on the side if I
should need to make an emergency rental/purchase for another laptop to complete my product
assignments and project. I should keep my client informed should this delay any products or my
project.
Work vs. School Work – One of my responsibilities other than this project is to make sure I
make enough money to pay my bills so I have to set up a work schedule so that I can complete
product assignments and follow through with my project plan. Co-workers may like me to pick
up shifts for them, but my project is a critical priority for me, so I may often turn them down.
Family & Friend Relationships – I may highlight important dates such as my best friend’s kid
first birthday and my sister’s birthday, but other than some other really important events, I’ll
have to hold off on too many outings before my project deadline.
Missing assignments – Try hard to not miss any product deadlines, especially any that must be
turned in to Pursuall since assignments missed on Pursuall cannot be turned in late. I will do this
by creating a thorough project plan and checking canvas daily.
Loss of motivation – Keep an eye on the praise and stay consistent on the goal at hand. Think
about the progress made thus far and remember your “why”. Meditate, work out, or go for run.
Take a day off to refresh when there’s time between product due dates.
