To design a learning environment which has a spiritual approach towards education for
students with the use of Biophilic Design which is the concept used within the building to
increase occupant connectivity to natural environment through the use of direct and indirect
use of nature.
Vernacular style- As the project is to be build close to Ram Mandir in order to capitalize on
local knowledge and tradition, easily avaibility of local construction material could be used, it
would also resemble to the site context .

Material - Brick is a clean natural material that doesn’t impact on the environment, it has a
higher durability. It can also be arranged in artistic ways to create pattern of solid and void to
let in light and ventilation.

• The main objective of the school is to see a place “where the whole world can find a
nest”: it is composed of a synthesis of elements coming from different sources.
• Centralized Linear pedestrian circulation
• Perfect ecological balance and improved way of life is reflected in the design.
• The central lounge was always the core of the building, around which the other spaces
grew organically.
• The main objective of Shanti-Niketan was to cultivate love for nature, to impart

• The architecture philosophy that lays under all the buildings design is the idea that all
the constructions could be re-addressed to simply an arch or a tunnel, with rooms

have a local origin.
