People's philosophy extends beyond their lifetime.

People can become famous for their ideology,

allowing it to go on in perpetuity. Philosophy should be fundamental or very close to the truth source.
"Love of truth" is the definition of philosophy. What was true and being preached three thousand years
ago about mankind's relationship to the world and the purpose of our function in this life is surely true
today. All ideologies believe that the objective of the human intellect is to evolve wisdom and thereby
affect others who are suffering from mental darkness, or ignorance. Because they are focused elsewhere
or distracted by worldliness, they are unaware of their own ignorance. When humanity's consciousness
rises, the globe becomes a lighthouse. Prosperity and peace are realized. When one encounters the
negative features of the human mind, a race to self-destruction begins. If there was ever a concept of
civic behavior in recorded history, I'd argue the reason philosophy is with mankind, for those who
practice it, is to avoid the downfall of civilization.
