Movie review

SUMMARY
At the beginning of a story there are a losing coach, he never wins a
game. His team always failed a game. And there are team members who
transfer to another team because he never wins a game. And then one day
David enter in their team because he loves football. David’s dad can’t stand
and only used a wheelchair. They don’t believe in Coach Taylor well in fact
they want to kick Coach out of a team. The parents of his handled team
want their child to be in another team. But her team believe him. He and his
team work hard so that when they compete thy will win. He has faith in God
and he believe that nothing is impossible. His wife wants a baby but they
can’t have it because it’s not yet God timing. He says to his wife that His

says to his wife that Brooke, I can't provide you a decent home. I can't
provide you a decent car. I'm a failing coach with a losing record. And I
can't even give you the children you want. And the other coach doesn’t
believe him but he believed in his self. He prayed to God and asked a
guidance. He planned it well and asked “what is the purpose of a team?”.
He trained his team well and says words that can wake the up to trust and
have faith with God. He always pursues his team that can make it. The
team work hard until they get their first win. They always pray for the best in
their team. He always inspired people. Until one day a miracle happen
Coach Taylor and his team always win. The father of one member of a
team gave him a new car because he deserves it. He is so overwhelming
on what happening. But they lose the game for them not to go a
championship. But no matter what happen lose or win he always thank
God. And a chance came up they can go to a championship. They are
facing the giants the team that undefeated, always win. But God is with
them they will win the game because they work as a team. And nothing is
impossible to God. And also, her wife caring a baby that they always pray
of.

CHARACTERS
Coach Grant Taylor – He believe in God and always says that
nothing is impossible with him. He didn’t lose hope. He worked
hard for them to get the success they want. He believed in
everything is possible. I learned that if you offered everything to
God nothing is impossible.
David Childers – He doesn’t lose hope. He trusts himself like
how he trusts by his father and his coach. He worked hard for the
championship. He is a great son.
Brock Kelley - He also believe in his coach and also work as a
team. He is a great leader and he will follow by his members.
Brooke Taylor – A girl who will support you no matter what. She
comforts coach when no one can. And she didn’t give up until she
gets what he wanted. She puts her trust in God.
Brady Owens – He didn’t leave his friend and support his friend
although some people says that he deserve to be a coach, he
almost claim it but he trust coach.
Mr. Bridges – The message on him that’s why Coach Taylor
didn’t give up. He says “God will send the rain when He’s ready.
You need to prepare your field to receive it”
Larry Childers – The father who will support his sons and gives
advice to him.
Matt Patter – He asked for forgiveness to his father and say he will
respect every decision that his father make.

REFLECTION
 Failure is a part of success, if we didn’t fail, we can’t
go to our destination. Failure makes us better. Some
people stop pursuing their dream when they fail but we
shouldn’t. That is our foundation to build our success. Like
in this movie, he failed always but he didn’t give up. He
believed in God that nothing is impossible. When Coach
says “Your attitude like the aroma of your heart. If your
attitude stinks, it means your heart’s not right.” It means if
you let your attitude wins in your heart and not God your
stinks. Because the person who has right attitude and less
talented can perform well than the person who is qualified
to perform. “Whether you make this field goal or not, we’re
going to praise Him. But don’t you walk off this field having
done any less than your best.” Because the real success is
not about winning but what God created you. God always
there to guide us what ever decision we make we need to
offer it with God. They always pray for the best of their team.
He always gave advice to his teams. And her wife trust god
and then one day God gave what they want. Nothing is
impossible with him and I know that it is God perfect timing.
If it is for you, you will get it. And hard work is also a key to
achieve your goal in life. If you didn’t work harder, you
wouldn’t get what you want.

Paano ko sasabihin sa aking kaibigan na hindi nakapanood nito. Sasabihin ko na
ang palabas na ito ay para sa taong laging hindi nagtatagumpay pero hindi sumusuko.
Marami kang makukuhang aral. Ang facing the giants ay tungkol sa mga manlalaro na
hindi nagtatagumpay. Pero hindi sila sinukuan ng kanilang Coach kahit marami na rin
ang hindi naniniwala dito. Maraming beses silang natalo pero hindi sila sumuko. Lalo
silang nag ensayo para lumakas sila dahil alam nil ana ganoon din ang ginagawa ng
kalaban nila. Lahat ng kanilang pag hihirap ay nagkaroon ng magandang resulta
nananalo sila ng nananalo. Lagi silang humihingi ng gabay sa panginoon upang bigyan
sila ng lakas upang harapin ang bagong pagsubok na kanilang kinakaharap. Kahit
madami na silang talo ay hindi sila sumuko at ginawa niya pa iyo inspirasyon para
makamit ang tagumpay na kanilang inaasam. Matuto tayong bumangon kpag tayo ay
nadadapa dahil hundu doon natatapos ang buhay nagsisimula palang tayo. Marami
akong natutunan sa palabas na ito kaya dapat ay mapanood mor in upang magkaroon
ng kalinawan ang iyong isipan na kahit anong mangyari ay wag susuko at gawin itong
inspirasyon upang magpatuloy sa buhay. Mayroon sianbi doon si Grant Taylor na ang
ating aksyon ang susundan ng ating paniniwala kaya kung nanioniwala tayo na
matatalo tayo, matatalo tayo. Pero kung iisipin natin na magtatagumpay tayo
magtatagumpay tayo, dahil walang imposible kung tayo ay maniniwala. Kailangan
nating magtiwala sa proseso dahil para sa atin ito ibibigay at ibibigay niya ito sa atin.

Facing the Giants gives people hope that as long that they believe God nothing is
Impossible. It was a great movie and you can learn on each character because they are
all believe in God. We can’t see him but he is always there. He will always guide us and
protect us. God will give miracle if you believe him. People might think that you can’t but
no one knows who are you in a future. That’s why you need to pursue your dream and
always put God on a center of everything. And they won a game, not just a game but a
championship. They deceived there opponent even if they are fast, strong and
undefeatable because nothing is impossible if you believe him. But God is with them
they will win the game because they work as a team. And nothing is impossible to God.
And also, her wife caring a baby that they always pray of.
