A BIG FIRE

A big fire hit the Tondo area near the sea. of houses were burned and many
families were left homeless. After the fire, the place became a big, open space. Only
burned woods, stones and twisted galvanized iron sheets were left.
Many of the families who had no place to go were sadly grouped together. Their
few belongings were piled near them.
Not long after, the Red Cross people arrived to help the fire victims. They brought
canvas tents, clothings, mats, food and medicines.
