1. DRT Highway

The Doña Remedios Trinidad Highway in Baliwag is one of the notorious

sites for some road collisions and various accidents that mostly involve motorcycles
and cars that usually drive past the speed limit. Given the large volume of vehicles
that use the highway for traveling, it is a fact that the highway becomes one of the
accident-prone areas of Baliwag.

The DRT Highway also houses various buildings, private business

establishments, warehouses, and activity centers where commuters flock in and larger
vehicles like wheeler trucks are present. Due to the congestion in the highway,
pedestrian accidents are also recorded along the highway.
2. Baliwag Flyover

Located at the center of BS Aquino Avenue that separates the barangays of

Tangos and Bagong Nayon, the Baliwag Flyover is, in fact, an accident-prone area.
Unlike local roads and highways, you cannot overtake in flyovers. This simple
mistake of drivers and riders often lead to a regretful consequence. A flyover is
considered a blindspot, since its projectile shape disable riders to see the vehicles
coming from the other side of the road. That instance leads to various road clashes
which sometimes lead to death.
