LNHS STUDENT PRAYER
Lord, I offer you my whole self, as a student of
Ligao National High School. I pray that this
personal commitment as a student, be a form of
praise to Your most holy name and your eternal
glory. Make me an instrument for the attainment of
DepEd's vision and mission. If it shall be your will,
help us as we dream of us filipinos, who, in the
near future, passionately love the country, and with
values and competencies enable us to realize our
full potential and contribute meaningfully to building
the nation. As a learner-centered public institution,
guide the Department of Education to continuously
improve itself to better serve its stakeholders
through your unceasing intercession. So that I may
be worthy of being called your child, help the prime
movers of pedagogy to protect and promote the
right of every filipino to quality, equiatble, culture
based and complete basic education where:
Students learn in a child friendly, gender sensitive,
safe, and motivating environment. Teachers
facilitate learning and constantly nurture every
learner. Administrators and staff, as stewards of
the institution, ensure an enabling and supportive
environment for effective learning to happen.
Family, community and other stakeholders are
actively engaged and share responsibility for
developing life-long learners. Lord, grant me the
strength and courage to develop myself into a
complete person, and make me realize that I'm
taking up... Filipino and English, so that whatever
I'am, whoever is with me, I may be able to speak
nothing but the truth. Science and Math, that I may
be systematic and accurate, in all my works and
deeds Araling Panlipunan that I may understand
the uniqueness of each individual. The
MAKABAYAN subjects, MAPEH and TLE, that I
may acquire the necessary skiils to survive in this
material world, enable me to live a life of a true
Filipino, and make me proud of being a Filipino.
And above all, Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao,
which lays the foundation of a truly Christian life.
Grant me the wisdom to know that all these things
will be in vain, if I love to cheat, because I hate
difficulties, if I love to aspire but hate to perspire.
Lord, I pray for strength and wisdom that I may
defeat my human frailties, and let peace, justice
and righteousness prevail. AMEN.
