It starts out the perspective of my story so it shows the reader my perspective on how I believe that
social media literacy is good and has been good for me and it also shares how I started with this literacy.

The details I am using to help me achieve my goal of sharing how social media is a good literacy
is by showing how in the first paragraph I was young, but I still knew and was sure about the fact
that I wanted social media and downloaded it against my parents rules (I would never do this). I
think this helps show the reader how much I really cared about social media literacy.

This paragraph helps develop the story plot by having a starting point and sharing with the reader where
and when my story with social media took place.

This paragraph is a fast forward to my life now and how I have developed my social media usage, but
even though I started my social media journey with Instagram, it now is further continuing the most with
snapchat and facetime.

throughout my life and has made different impacts on my life throughout different times.

I think the details in this paragraph are helping me achieve my goal of sharing that social media is a good
literacy by sharing how social media helped me with the transition to college and moving across the
country.

with my friends and family while we are 1,000+ miles and made my college experience the easiest
transition I could have imagined.

the pros outweigh the cons.

This paragraph advances my story by making me more of a credible source and being more genuine by
showing the cons and I think that this shows the reader that I am aware that there are negatives, but
that the positives outweigh the negatives.

Details I am working on to help me achieve my goal is by showing that yes there are negatives, but there
are negatives to everything, but that these negatives can be avoided if we are careful with social media
and know how to control the cons and keep them minimal.

This paragraph advances my story plot by allowing the reader to know that I am aware that there are
negatives and that I am addressing them, but still believe social media is a good literacy.

This paragraph advances the story plot because every story needs an ending and closure and that is in
my conclusion.

Reflection

After doing this activity it helped me realize things I should change to make my story plot better and
make my essay as a whole easy to read and understand along with having a good organized essay. Also
being able to re read and re-evaluate my essay has allowed me to pinpoint the areas that I need to work
on.
