 INTRODUCTION
Plants and tress are our capital. They are fundamental to life
on earth , offering food ,medicine and shelter. They also
sequester carbon , fight Pollution and bind the soil.
The solution to catastrophic events like wildfire , floods and
pandemic lies in restoring green cover and restoring the
balance in nature. Planting or adopting tree can help
safeguard jobs , human health and essential natural resource
for millions of people.

 PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION AND CAUSE

Life could not exist on earth without tress Because
they produce oxygen that humans and wildlife
Breathe.
Without Trees it would destroy the habitat of
animals and birds. Causes flood ,fires and cause
green house gases build up , it can affect the
discovery of new herbal medicines and it effects
water cycle

 Objective to be achieved
Plants trees can be increase the resililence of ecosytem , help minimize
climate change effects .Planting native seedings in ecologically appropriate
areas can also counteract soil and biodiversity less and improve human well
being.
Sustainable development Goals:
• No Poverty
• Clean Water and sanitation
• Zero Hunger
• Affordable and Clean Energy etc.
The main Objective is to improve greenery as much as possible by planting
trees and also by adopting pre existing trees and Plants.

 Various steps taken to achieve the objectives

Some Important Steps while planting and Adopting a tree:
• Planning : “Right Tree at Right Place “ Right tree means the species and full-
grown size of the tree is best suited for our home and area we have available to
plant a tree.
Right place means tree has enough space
to grow to its full ,mature height and
its root system has the space it needs to
grow fully successfully .

• Dig a proper Planting hole: When Preparing

any hole for planting ,make it three times wider than
the current root mass.

• Don’t Amend the soil: contrary to

traditional Planting methods contemporary
research indicates that we should not amend
the hole with Organic material

• Mulching : Helps save water and promotes healthy root systems.

• Water Properly Until Established : The

Proper Watering and establishment is slow
and deep irrigation . The only way to
establish tree properly through irrigation.

• Shelter: Tree shelter enhance tree growth and development while

providing individual protection from browsing animals.

 EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PROJECT

➢ Tree lined street have a traffic calming effect
,traffic moves slowly and safely.

➢ Tree can be placed to screen unwanted noise from busy highways.

➢ Trees improve air quality by filtering harmful dust and pollutants such as
ozone ,co and so2 from air we breathe.
➢ Trees reduces the amount of storm water run off ,which reduces soil
erosion and may reduce the effect of flooding.
➢ Many species of wildlife depend on tree habitat. Tree provide
food ,protection and homes for many birds and mammals.

 Conclusion
⚫ We conclude that trees should be regularly planted to save the
mankind and the animal world. Tree plantation and its after-care is
a pleasing work too. We can get much pleasure in planting trees
and in taking care of them
⚫ Trees shade our homes, add beauty to our communities and
countryside, and protect biodiversity by providing food and
habitat for birds and animals. Trees are natural air filters -
taking in carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. Trees protect
sources of drinking water by preventing soil erosion.
