Regarding his future, Gideon Waters has much planned for each area of his life. His
future is mapped to set him up for success in college, career, and his future family. He’s currently
striving to stay organized and get good grades in high school in order to make these plans a
reality.
His plans for the future begin following his high school graduation. Waters plans to serve
a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He has chosen to do this to
really set his transition into adulthood into play. This mission would include a lot of service and
require Gideon to think entirely of others rather than himself. Its a good way for him to see what
really matters in life and why we go through it all.
The next step in his future is college. After completing his mission, Gideon plans on
attending a small direct entire nursing program in order to get his nursing degree in 2 years. He is
willing to sacrifice the on campus college experience in order to start his career and family more
quickly. He has chosen this faster college path as 2 years spent on a mission right out of college
is a lot of time during very important years in his life.
After college he plans to start his career as a nurse and start looking for a spouse. He
would like to get married toward the end of college or during residency. His mapped out future
ends with having kids. To Waters this is his perfect life, married, has kids, and working in a job
he loves.
