Overall, the number of people, who chose the hotel as their accomodation, outraced the rest of
other places by a significant margin. While the demand on other services remained more or less
same, camping initially had a lower rate in 2010.
In detail, in all four countries about 45-55% chose to stay in hotels. The figures experienced its
peak in England for aroung 55%, while its popularity dropped dramatically in Northern Ireland.
Moreover, whereas the number of people, who chose caravan as their temporary homes,
remained as its lowest level – about 9%, the trajectory approximately tripled for Northen
Ireland and reached 31%.
With regards to the camping, it fluctuated in all four countries – the statistics peaked at about
12% in England and hit the lowest rate of 6% in Scotland. The trend varied for self-catering, too,
meanwhile, both of them tapered off to an identical level – about 11% in Northen Ireland.

Overall, people feed themselves mostly with animal originated food, such as meat, rather than plant
source meals – like rice.
In detail, while the consumption of the meat made the biggest contribution in the chart, in comparison,
the percentage of people, who eat rice daily, is reduced approximately 12 times. Consumption of fish
was another most significant part of the whole data – it was 27.9%.
In terms of cereals, vegetables and fruits, they made nearly equal contribution. The bread was eaten
twice as much as rice, although, twofold as less as cereals.

With regards to playing games or listening to music, they hit the peak in 2010. Although, the percentage
for gaming approximately doubled by 2010. An unimportant fluctuation took a place in 2008 – the data
was at 42%, while in 2010 it decreased by 1%.
In terms of the Internet and video recordings, in 2006 there was no actual data avaliable, whereas the
consumption of these services grew considerably in the next two years and peaked at in 2010 by 73%
and 35%.
