Pressure Switch, type DP

0 0

1 Description
S can be used with all types of lift valves
S the switch is screwed directly into the
appropriate port and constantly senses the
cylinder pressure
S is connected as normally open
S can also be connected as a change−over
switch
S used for monitoring of minimum static
pressure
S can also be used as a slack−rope switch

1.1 Safety switch to monitor of minimum static pressure

Opens the electrical control circuit when the pressure drops below a
minimum permissible level if, for example, the hose rupture valve closes.
No further travel is possible in either direction.
While the car is travelling, this pressure−switch function should be
bridged to prevent unwanted circuit interruptions that could result from
dynamic pressure fluctuations.

2 Installation and commissioning

2.1 Fitting the pressure switch

Caution
Oil under high pressure
Can cause serious injuries
Before fitting the pressure switch, make sure that all pressure in the lift
control valve has been vented.

1. Screw the pressure switch into the lift control valve

I with the G¼" male thread

2. Connect the cable

2.2 Setting procedures

1. Close ball valve at lift control valve

2. Relieve pressure in valve
3. Develop the required switching pressure in the valve
I with hand pump

4. Remove connector socket from pressure switch

5. Connect an ohmmeter (with beep tone) to the terminals on the
pressure switch
6. Turn adjusting screw on the pressure switch until the switching
point is reached
7. Re−attach connector socket and tighten screw
8. Open ball valve
