Driconeq AB is the leading provi-

der of drilling equipment around the
world. Covering segments as water well,
geothermal, construction, gas and mine
drilling. Mine drilling includes blast hole,
RC exploration and Raise bore.

We are specialized in making threaded pipes

and adaptors for the drilling industry and
always put our customers’ needs at the centre.

 The material
Driconeq works together with the leading
material manufacturers/suppliers in Sweden
and Germany to ensure that the very best
quality steel is used. Our primary steel used
for Raise pipes is 4330VB mod Q&T, often
referred to as “high strength” material. This
material has great harden ability and high
mechanical properties. The yield strength
is 140 000PSI (950MPa) and the tensile
strength is 150 000PSI (1035MPa).
We can also supply “standard strength”
material, 4145H.

Manufacturing
process
Our work shop is equipped with the latest CNC
machines for turning and milling. We also use
robots to feed the machines with material. Our
machine operators have long experience and
great knowledge in this type of manufacturing.
We also have our own heat treatment facilities
to ensure the very best result.
Driconeq Integral Raise Bore pipes
We manufacture integral Raise pipes made from single piece forged mate-
rial. The standard thread profile is the DI-22 but for larger pipes the DI-42
is available. All threads are inspected and tested with a thread gauge after
manufacturing. We treat all threads chemically to help retention of thread
grease and minimize the risk of galling.
Our pipe has longer distance between the two set of tong flats than other
manufacturers making it possible for an additional retrace of the pipe.

Equipment
We manufacture chucks, integral stabilizers, subs and non-return valves.
We can also provide roller bits, cutters, stingers etc. upon request.
