Commander’s Message 
MEETING TIME FOR GENERAL MEETING - 6p 
The children’s Christmas party was great, thanks to Marge, Sharon and Andrea for organizing it. Also, thanks to the 
Aux, SAL and ALR for the job they do. 
Elections are coming up, Steve K and I will not be running. I have been looking to fill vacant 2nd Vice, Sergeant at Arms 
and Chaplain. Legion members have to step up or the Post may die. There will be a Feb meeting, come sign up for 
offices for your Post.

Sons of the American Legion 
The S.A.L. is sad to report that we have lost a past S.A.L. Commander. Dan Ruszkowski passed away Jan 5, 2020. He 
was a great supporter of Post 357. His passion to better the club will be missed greatly. We would like to thank 
everyone that helped with the Toys for Tots Drive. The S.A.L. Donated $250.00 to Millers Vets and & $250.00 to Life 
Treatment Center. We were also happy to donate $500.00 to help with the Legion’s Kid’s Christmas Party. WE NEED 
OFFICERS!!! Elections are coming up soon! Please pay your 2020 dues. Święconka will be on Saturday, April 11​th​.

​Monthly meetings are the first Sunday of the month at 3pm.  
Gun Raffle is in week 21there are 5 more weeks to go. 
Upcoming Rides; Stars and Stripes Ride June 6th and Kernan’s Heroes is July 11th.

Auxiliary 
Monthly meetings are held the 1​st ​Wednesday of the month at 6pm 
I would like to extend my gratitude to all of our members and special acknowledgement to my board for making the 
holiday season memorable for our Veterans from Miller’s Vets and Kernans Heroes from Life Treatment Center. 
Special thank you to everyone who answers the call to help out our Veterans in the community. 
Elections are coming up. We will hold our nominations at the February 5th and March 4th meeting and final vote will be 
held on April 8th. Please come to the meetings. We encourage all to attend and encourage all ideas to be presented.  
WE NEED AUXILIARY MEMBERS TO CONSIDER RUNNING TO KEEP OUR UNIT STRONG. 
Upcoming events: Valentines Day Dinner and Dance will be held on Saturday, Feb 15th. $25 a couple or $15 for single. 
SINGLES WELCOME!!!! Dinner to include: ​Roast Beef Potatoes and Gravy, Rolls Salad and Vegetable with Delightful 
Desserts Includes Soft Drink and Coffee 
May 6th is the Mother’s Day Dinner - invitations will be mailed out in April
