Procedures:

A. Review of the Previous Lesson Week 5


The Learners will be asked to play a Kahoot game (online game-based application tool) prepared by the teacher on the process of
playwriting.

Note: This online game-based learning activity will initially and actively prepare the learners for an exciting recall of
their previous lesson on the steps of playwriting. The teacher’s role here is to facilitate the game and engage the
learners afterward on oral drills and recitation in identifying the process of playwriting.

B. Establish the Purpose of the Lesson


Let the learners identify the following parade of images based on their prior knowledge. Have them answer the following guide
questions:

What image/s do you recognize? Identify each.


b. Why are you familiar with such image/s?
c. What do these certain image/s symbolize?
d. As a Theater Arts learner, how important are these images in your major?

Note: Let the learners creatively express their ideas and opinions. The teacher here needs to facilitate the higher-order thinking skills
that will stimulate curiosity about the new lesson.

C. Present New Lesson

2. After viewing, the learners will be divided into (3) groups, and each group member will have the following theatrical reporting circles:

3. Each group will be given printed/digitized handouts regarding their assigned reports in the following (3) categories of theatrical
elements of production:
 Literary Elements
 Technical Elements
 Performance Elements

Note: This activity is designed to promote student ownership and accountability of the lesson through group reporting circles for
active engagement and collaboration.
