Job Description- Software Engineer (1-3 years)

Roles and responsibilities:

● Data modelling to optimize for performance based on access paths

● Designing APIs and abstractions to expose to the web and app front-end
● Building servers and clients for data storage and querying
● Developing, designing and monitoring large-scale web and mobile applications
● Ensure the best possible reliability, correctness, performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
● Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Job Requirements Skills 

● Strong aptitude for server-side programming

● Experience with higher level programming languages like Java, Python, Golang
● Experience with relational databases like Postgres, MySQL, Oracle
● Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect front-end applications to back-end service
● Knowledge of the open-source ecosystem, viz., frameworks and libraries available for common tasks
● A knack for benchmarking and optimization
● Proficient understanding of code version tools, such as Git
● Ability to work in a fast-paced startup
● Strong ability to write structured technical design outlines and pseudo code
