- Fraud - due to the growth of e-commerce, mobile payments, and computing
power, fraud has also accelerated and has become even more complex in

a type of online content whose nature might lead to ethical and moral issues.

2. State some ICT policies that educators and common netizens must be aware of and
explain briefly.
Students' Appropriate Use of Mobile Phones and Other Electronic Equipment
- Students are not permitted to bring cell phones to school. If a student needs to bring a
phone before or after school, permission from the principal is required. If the phone is
approved, it must be left at the office upon arrival and picked up at the end of the day.
Noncompliance will result in phone confiscation and notification of parents so that
collection can take place.Other electronic equipment is not permitted unless the teacher
grants permission. There will be no 3G connectivity in this case.

Authorisation and controls

- The principal reserves the right to restrict student access to the school's ICT facilities and
devices if access and usage requirements are not met or are breached. However restricted
access will not disrupt the provision of the student's educational program. For example, a
student with restricted school network access may be allocated a stand-alone computer to
continue their educational program activities.
