Elevate K-12 Mission Statement


We are committed to creating an engaging, outcome-driven, high-quality teaching & learning
experience for teachers and students.

What Elevates Us
I. We serve our partners by:
A. Delivering high-quality instruction to students in any zip code
B. Creating a virtual classroom community that is welcoming, equitable, inclusive &
professional for all.
C. Showing up on time for our students everyday
D. Following lesson sequence and program calendar using the Elevate K-12 content
E. Adhering to our Critical Race Theory guidance (updated 8.26.21)
F. Working closely and professionally with the Classroom Coach to create a positive
learning environment
II. We support each other by:
A. Asking for and accepting feedback and its value
B. Following the Golden Rule
C. Adopting a positive “Yes… and” attitude to see other perspectives and to encourage
productive dialogue
D. Following the Communication Flow to effectively communicate with all members of
the team
E. Making curriculum suggestions using the proper channel
F. Collaborating during professional learning for ongoing personal and professional
growth
III. We navigate conflicts of interest by:
A. Assuming the best intent
B. Putting ourselves in others’ shoes
C. Taking a deep breath before acting
D. Being professional in digital communication and talking “face to face” for important
conversations
E. Informing our Academic Coach of any difficult situations that arise, to cooperatively
enact a resolution
IV. We ensure integrity and responsibility by:
A. Always coming back to the students
B. Adopting a growth mindset
C. Making sure that if we see something, we say something
D. Remaining open and honest in communication with one another
E. Communicating with students through the proper channels during class time in the
Elevate K-12 portal or through the Classroom Coach
F. Respecting Elevate K-12’s ownership of content and resources
