1. EXPLAIN THE DEFINITION AND IMPORTANCE OF STUDY IN HISTORY?

It is important to study history so that we can learn how past societies, systems, ideologies,
governments, cultures and technologies were built. How they operated, and how they have
changed through time.

2.HOW DID FILIPINO LEARNED FROM THEIR HISTORY?

Filipinos learned to record history began when we we’re conquered by the Spaniards, they
developed their own culture and established records influenced by the Spaniards.

3.WHY DO WE NEED TO STUDY READINGS IN PHILIPPINE HISTORY?

Studying Philippine history is important because you have to understand and know the things that
happened in the past for us to appreciate the future and present situation of our country.

4. Give a logical explanation to the famous quotation used by the Greek Philosopher, Heraclitus

“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same

man”.
I think Heraclitus quotation was for his belief that everything is constantly changing. You may step at
the river twice, but you can’t compare the experience of the water from the first time you stepped
to the second one.
ACTIVITY III. THOUGHT PAPER WORK

Write a thought paper on the learning that you get from the lesson. Apply all the learnings in

a real-life scenario.

I have learned from this lesson is that there are a lot of forms of information that has different
classifications of data and structure of the information itself. If I am to apply these learnings into a
real life scenario, If I came across an important information, I would first do research and gather
actual facts to confirm the certain information.
