1. Traditional Way Based on LMP

• Adding the total number of days of the
month from LMP up to the time of visit then
divide by 7 to determine the AOG in weeks.
• AOG is expressed in fraction.
• Note: always add 1 day (e.g., 13 1/7 weeks).

COMPUTE FOR AOG

Situation:
Date of Prenatal Visit: August 24, 2022
LMP: May 25, 2022 (May has 31 days)
Note: Consider the date of LMP as day 1.
• May = 7 days
• June = 30 days
• July = 31 days
• August = 24 days
• Total = 92 days/7
AOG = 13 1/7weeks
The woman is 13 weeks and 1 day
pregnant.
The fetus is 13 weeks and 1 day old. • Using the fundal height measurement to

Pregnancy with myoma or Ovarian 1. Sadovsky Method

Tumor • Mother on left recumbent position after a

she feels over the next hour.

• 2x10 min (average of 10-12x/hour)

• FH much less than suggests: • Less than 5 (call health care provider)
