Noise
Check if the noise is caused by a technical defect
on the steering system.
Steering circuit oil level too low. Check the level of the steering oil circuit according to procedure:
"Checking steering oil level".
Contaminated steering oil filter.
Check the steering oil filter for heavy contamination.
System pressure too low.
Perform job(Check steering device with pressure gauge (steering box))
Damaged or leaking power steering Check the routing of all the power steering lines for incorrect connections
lines. and tightening torque of the joints, leakage and/or damage.
Air in the steering system. Check for leakage from the steering system.
Check the steering oil for foaming. Bleed the steering system, perform the job (Bleed (steering gear)).
Damaged steering rod ball joints.
Perform job (Check for damaged ball joint (steering box)).
Play in the steering rod ball joints.
Perform job(Check the clearance of the ball joint (steering box)).
Loose steering box, steering box
bracket or steering rod attachment. Check the attachment bolts of the steering gear components.
