January 18, 2019 (Friday)

Today is our first day of work immersion and we have an

orientation about the history of NUVELCO and a brief discussion on

their rules and regulation.

After that we go to Engineering Department and they discuss how

to create Release Ticket and we also try to create a Release Ticket.

We also create Staking Sheet for their project and a brief

discussion about Background Estimate and Cost. We use also the

Transformer Loss Tester to test Transformer.

January 21, 2019 (Monday)

On the 2nd day of our work immersion we attended flag ceremony

and we have short program on the birthday celebration of employee’s.

After that, we have to report in Institutional Service Department (ISD)

and we classify and arrange important documents.

January 22, 2019 (Tuesday)

On the 3rd day of our work immersion we have to continue

arranging and classifying important documents. We also seal the

certificates of electric user’s.

January 23, 2019 (Wednesday)

On the 4th day of our work immersion we continue to seal the

certificates and arrange alphabetically. We also encode data’s and

photocopied important documents.

January 24, 2019 (Thursday)

Thanks God it’s Thursday, we continue to seal the certificates of

electric user.
 After sealing, we encode data’s and file documents. We again

arrange and classify important documents.

In the Afternoon, we try to read the KWH meter with the help of

our supervisor.

January 25, 2019 (Friday)

It’s Friday and it is the 6th day of our work immersion we have to

check and arrange the Gatepass and T-ticket of the employee’s. We

arrange and photocopied also the important documents that are needed

in the Department. We also remove carbon from the papers.

January 28, 2019 (Monday)

On the 7th day of our work immersion we have to process papers

like, signing of the employee’s especially the General Manager (GM) of

the cooperative. We check and photocopied important documents, we

also get materials from Finance Department.

January 29, 2019 (Tuesday)

On the 8th day of our work immersion we have to encode data’s.

We also photocopied, arrange, classify and filed important documents.

January 30, 2019 (Wednesday)

On the 9th day of our work immersion we have to continue

arranging, classifying, photocopied, and filed important documents. We

also process papers, like signing of documents.

After that we go to the old building of NUVELCO to remove and

clean the steel cabinets of the Institutional Service Department (ISD).

January 31, 2019 (Thursday)

On the 10th day of our work immersion we continue to removed

and cleaned the steel cabinets. After removing and cleaning, we continue

to file, to process, to arrange, to classify, and photocopied all the

important documents that are needed in the Department. We also design

their bulletin board.

February 01, 2019 (Friday)

On the 11th day of our work immersion we have to encode,

photocopied and process papers or important documents and this is our

last day in the NUVELCO.

 REFLECTION

My first day of work immersion at NUVELCO is I’m so

very excited but a little bit nervous because I’m in a different

environment. I’m expecting that the task that will be given by

our supervisor is so very hard. My first impression to them, they

are so strict especially to the student like me. But what I’m

expecting is very opposite to the reality because they have the

patience to teach us the hard task that made us easy to do. They

are also kindhearted, caring, have discipline, honest and God

fearing.

On the first week, they gave me a task to create Release

Ticket, Staking Sheet, Arranging, Classifying, Encoding,

Photocopying, Filing important documents. With these task I

learn a lot and it molds me to become one of them, working as

one of the employee of NUVELCO.

 Second week of my work immersion I feel comfortable to

do the task that were given to me. So based from my

experiences working with the employee of the NUVELCO. I‘ve

learned many things from them. I became more responsible and

patient in doing things that are given to me. I will treasure all the

learnings, the spirit of camaraderie, hard work, and team works

that I experience with them.

In our last day of our work immersion, they shared a saying

that inculcated in our mind, that we should love our work and

have dedication in our everyday undertakings.
