CHAPTER IV

NARRATIVE REPORT
In this year’s 24th day of June, we started our on the-job-training with a flag ceremony and
after which, we proceeded in the DPWH’s covered court for our orientation. From there, Mrs.
Rosaline Cacao introduced us to the employees of the company and we are also oriented about the
company’s rules and regulations. Before we are deployed to our respective areas, we registered
through biometrics for our daily attendance. On that day, we are divided and assigned in three
different respective areas namely planning and design, maintenance, quality assurance,
procurement unit and construction section. Moreover in each week each, a group that is assigned
in an area is interchanged to the different mentioned working areas so that each group will have a
total experience.

WEEK I
June 24-28, 2019

Planning and Design Section. The group deployed in this area met engineer Bryan P. Espejo
which is the only electrical engineer in the company then later on, they filed the company
employers’ travel slip. On the next day, they fixed wires and cleaned the office, handwriting
company’s records and they also had lecture about electrical wiring with engineer Espejo. On their
third day, they practiced electrical layout through autocad, checked documents which are needed
to be signed by the chief of planning and design, and our individual layout was checked by engineer
Espejo. Later that day, they created a floor plan for a house and school and photocopied documents.
In their fifth day, they test drive drone, photocopied documents, created an electrical layout for a
school and they lastly, they had flag retreat to finally finish the day.

WEEK II
July 1-5, 2019

Planning and Design Section.

Maintenance Section. On the second week’s first day, the group created a single phase layout and
an electrical layout for school, and they also had a lecture about how to measure wire gauge. Later
that day, the group made a layout of a through autocad, photocopied documents repaired wires,
and lastly they had discussion on understanding the installation process of mts.

Quality Assurance Procurement Unit. On the group’s eleventh day, they had a discussion about
revit and designing a house using it, the group also designed a 600 square meters house, and
photocopied documents.
