TASK 1.

Ethics are the standard of what is right and wrong, and

they are based on our values. Being ethical requires
making a moral judgment, and that's not always easy.
Doing the right thing is an act that is in accordance with the
law, justice, and morality while doing the wrong thing is
an act that is not in accordance with morality or the law.

MY NOTES
 Ethics asks how we should live and what choices we should make and what makes our
lives worth living.
 Ethics helps us define the conditions of a good choice and then figure out which of all the
options available to us is the best one.
 Ethics is the process of questioning, discovering and defending our values, principles and
purpose.

MY NOTES
 Ethics refers to both moral principles and to the study of people’s moral obligations in
society.
 Ethics is a requirement for human life. It is our means of deciding a course of action.
Without it, our actions would be random and aimless.
 We need to be ethical because it defines who we are individually and as a society.

TASK 3.
TASK 4.
1. I realized that without an ethical system that authentically reflects one’s values, it is a lot
easier fall into traps or to become manipulated into holding views or taking actions that
violate one’s ethical integrity.
2. I feel that practicing our ethical system will help us make decisions that create positive
impacts and steering us away from unjust outcomes.
3. I need to build a personal value system based on principles, which will help you avoid
running afoul of their natural consequences and build a personal value system based on
principles, which will help you avoid running afoul of their natural consequences.
LET’S THINK ABOUT AND LET US REMEMBER
1. Ethics is a system of moral principles. They affect how people make decisions and lead
their lives. It is concerned with what is good for individuals and society and is also
described as moral philosophy.
2. For me 'ethics' is concerned with studying and/or building up a coherent set of 'rules' or
principles by which people ought to live. It stops us from simply describing what is likely
to happen, and allows us to make judgments about what should happen.
3. Yes. Being ethical may be difficult at any circumstances but as a future steward,
advocating ethics may bring something for the people around me. To advocate ethics I
think I must do or say nothing that may bring harm to another person, shame them for
any reason, and avoid bullying behavior, contribute to the betterment of others, and do
something every day to show kindness to others.
4. One thing I have remembered is that when me and my sister found a wallet inside the
grocery store but choose to send it to the lost and found section rather than keeping it to
ourselves and use the money to buy our groceries. I can say that there is ethics in that
very moment since we choose to be honest and made decision morally.
