Trend #1: Cloud-Based Systems Adoption
- One of the biggest transport industry trends is cloud-based systems adoption,
since the platforms in the cloud force a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model
which opens unlimited opportunities for companies scalability and innovative
digital resources usage.

Trend #2: Integrated, Frictionless Travel

The necessity to make travel more smooth and hassle-free is mostly
manifested through the rise of mobility-as-a-service (MaaS).

Trend #3: Visibility and Anti-Theft GPS

Today E-Commerce, retail, and logistic companies are getting focused on the
increased visibility, thus, tracking technologies adoption and adjustment for
increased traceability are among the major driving trends in the transportation
industry this year.

Trend #4: Self-Driving Trucks

The technology for self-driving trucks is still under perfecting and it has to
overcome certain obstacles, such as improving driverless software to make it
able to efficiently operate on urban roads with heavy traffic.

Trend #5: Regulation Compliance

It will be more correct to say that regulatory compliance is a must rather than
one of the latest trends in transportation.
Trend #6: Drone Delivery
Within a last-mile delivery focus tendency among both retailers and
transportation companies, some companies already deliver packages to the
citizens and companies by drones.

 Billions of working hours are lost as a result of the "caught in rush hour gridlock"
excuse. For example, between 1981 and 2001, the population of six major cities
in India increased by almost 1.9 times, but the number of engine cars increased
by more than 7.75 times.
 The cost of travel has risen dramatically, particularly for the economically
disadvantaged. Non-mechanized modes, such as cycling and strolling, have
become non-existent or extremely dangerous, as there is no option to continue
with these modes. Lower lease and land costs spurred enlarged city peripheries,
which increased travel distances, limiting non-mechanized means.
 Increased use of private automobiles, along with a lack of severe and intermittent
emanation checks and control, has resulted in increased fossil fuel byproducts and
commotion contamination. This leads to poor air quality and, as a result, a
reduction in overall well-being.
 Vehicle protection, upkeep, functional, and obtaining expenditures have risen for
millions of licensed drivers who possess a large number of vehicles.

Previously, transportation required a lot of hard work. Whether to plan for it since a
long time ago. Getting a lot of food and clothing ready. And provide enough money
for a person to relocate. This is due to the distances and the presence of enormous
areas that are unfit for human habitation, making travelling from one location to
another arduous and loaded with many natural and abnormal threats. The horse or
carts driven by horses were one of the most prominent ancient modes of
transportation. Followed by car or train afterwards. Cars were not designed to haul
heavy loads or travel great distances. In addition, not all countries' highways were
suitable for transit. This makes us grateful that we live in a time of greater
development in transportation modes, as well as grateful for the rehabilitation of
sufficient infrastructure in all countries to support transportation. Today's
transportation has advanced significantly, reducing the world to the size of a small
village.
Vehicles: The world of cars has advanced at a rapid pace, and we now see many
different shapes, types, and designs, and car companies are more competitive; to make
the latest cars that are also the fastest, most comfortable, and safe.

Trains: trains are one of the most modern modes of transportation, transporting
thousands of people across large distances within or outside their countries, and
transferring many different resources and goods at a cheaper cost than other modes.

Buses and trucks: Buses are an essential means of mass transportation, conveying
many people to and from work. Buses are used for public transportation. Moving
around is inexpensive and saves time and effort.
