Evidence: Job interview

Imagine you are applying for a new job. Below you will find some common job
interview questions. For this evidence, you have to record yourself while you
answer them. Dress up. Look professional. Pay attention to your body language.
Show you really want to get that job. Remember to use the grammar structures
and vocabulary you have practiced within this learning activity.

1. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?
● Well I think I’ve done well in my career, but I think I should have studied
English
more intensely
2. During your performance reviews, what criticism do you hear the most?
● I remember that they have told me that I must do things a little faster, since
I tried
to do it very well and so I delay
3. Tell me about your last position?
● Well, in my practices I was working in a very recognized company as a
clinical psychologist
4. What is your work philosophy?
● Perform activities very well, maintain fruitful social relations be organized,
seek a balance between work and personal life and learn a lot from work
and from those around you in this
5. How have you changed professionally speaking in the last two years?
● Since I started my internship I have learned a lot, I have met many
colleagues and professionals in different disciplines, which has given me a
lot of knowledge and so I have obtained tools to carry out my activities as a
professional
6. Tell me about the best manager you have ever had.
● Have been some of my colleagues and teachers, as they have all given me
much knowledge
7. What were the most memorable accomplishments in your last position?
● Be the best in my internship, so I was formally hired after finishing the
internship
8. Why do you want to leave your current job?
● Because unfortunately here I have no opportunities for further job
development
9. In your previous position, how much time did you spend learning how to do
things better?
● More or less all the time I was in the professional practices, but still every
day you learn much more
10. If you’re very happy with your current job, why do you want to leave?
● Because although there is an excellent work environment and everything is
very cool, as I mentioned there are no opportunities to grow
