Movin 'n' Groovin


27th July, 3rd August & 24th August 2011
The popular Movin 'n' Groovin activity sessions are delivered by Sharon Matthews in conjunction with Community Development during school holidays. Sessions are for toddlers to 4 years (nursery age), and 4-7 years (Reception to Year 3). The aim of the sessions is to develop your child's fundamental movement skills, involvement in games and to have lots of fun. Each toddler 1 hour session costs 2, and each 4-7 years session costs 4 Toddlers (under 4's, nursery age) 27th July, 3rd August and 24th August at 2-3pm Aldersley Leisure Village 2 per session 4-7 years (Reception to Year 3) 27th July and 3rd August at 10.30am-12pm Aldersley Leisure Village 3 per session

Multi-sport
11th-12th August & 25th-26th August 2011
The multi-sport course this summer is open to young people aged 8 to15. Young people have the opportunity to sample a number of different sports throughout the programme including: Cricket Karate Rugby Athletics Dodgeball Hockey Team Combat

Sports sessions are led by qualified coaches linked to local sports clubs. Two Multi-sport programmes are running this summer. 11th-12th August & 25th-26th August at 8.45am- 3.15pm Aldersley Leisure Village 20 per 2-day programme

I know from my own experience that Aviva Startrack is a fantastic opportunity for kids to try new athletics events

Aviva Star:track

Aviva Star:track is a UK Athletics development initiative which aims to provide a positive and fun experience to children aged between eight and 15. Whilst on the scheme young people are introduced to athletics in an exciting format and have the opportunity to experience all the different athletics events, some they might never have tried in school. Star:track also gives those who already take part in athletic activities an opportunity to develop their skills further with UK Athletics qualified coaches.At the end of the course each participant receives a Star:track goody bag, t-shirt and certificate. Monday 1st August - Friday 5th August at 9.30am-1.30pm each day
