REFLECTION PAPER

Isiah 40: 31 But they that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength; they shall
mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk,
and not faint. Upon listening in the passage I can say that indeed it is a motivation
passage/phrase that I received today. I can say that the passage is very timely and
very significant in what we face and experienced in our life today. This passage also
reminding as that we should be like an eagle who soar high and we should have the
characteristic of eagles in facing every problem that we have in our life because in
honestly speaking struggles, problems, and obstacles are part of our life it serve as our
stepping stone to become more brave, strong and firm in life and we can surpass this
challenges, obstacles, problems, struggles in life by the help of our almighty God who
strengthens us and gave us motivational words for us to be motivated. And we should
not put quitting as our choice in life. And I can say that the God we have today is still
the God we have in the future. As I said we should possess the characteristics of
Eagles, those characteristics are Eagles have Vision as a human being we should have
vision in every aspects of our life because what we have today or what status we
have we should not live in today but we should have vision in our future times. Eagles
are high flyers as human we should be high flyers too we should not be contented on
what we have or what we face we should let ourselves to fly high, dream high and aim
high. Eagles possess vitality even if Eagles are full of life and are visionary but they
find time to look back at their life and re-energize themselves. What is really interesting
is that the eagle never gives up living, instead it retreats to a mountaintop and over a
five month period goes through a metamorphosis. It knocks off its own beak by banging
it against a rock, plucks out its talons and then feathers. And as human we should be
possess the vitality of the Eagles. Eagles are fearless, an eagle will never surrender to
the size or strength of its prey. It will always give a fight to win its prey or regain its
territory. Just like Eagles no matter what the size of that person or what weapon they
maybe holding, you would attack them without thought or regard for yourself. It
wouldn’t even dawn on you to be afraid because your instinct is to protect that which
you love and cherish. Always remember that successful leaders are fearless. They face
problems head on.
