A. FIX ME UP I’M BROKEN


Instructions
1. The class will be divided into three

3. And the students will fix the mix letters
4. The group who will get the correct answer will get highest score.
B. SCAVENGERS HUNT
Instructions
1. The same groupings
2. The students need to find the meaning of the word they are
assign to
GROUP 1- SOIL
GROUP 2- CHARACTERISTIC
GROUP 3- TYPES
3. Then after that they need to share and present it to the class
4. The first group who will find the meaning first got the highest point.

Instructions
1. The same groupings
2. Let the students go in the school garden and let them find the
different types of soil.
GROUP I – CLAY SOIL
GROUP II- LOAM SOIL
GROUP III- SAND SOIL
3. Using their manila paper they need to write the characteristics of the
soil they found, from the texture, color and size.
4. Call a volunteer to share the output they made.
APPLICATION
A. Group Task: WHICH SOIL IS THE BEST?
Instructions:
1. The same groupings
2. Each group should go to the garden area (flower garden or vegetable
garden) of the school.
3. Observe the area, then find at least one type of the soil (it shouldn’t
be similar to other group.)
4. Explain why out of all the types of soil why did you choose that soil
5. Write down the texture, the sizes and the color of that soil
6. And create a short presentation about it ( sing, poem, story telling)
7. After that present it to the class.

A. MASTERY- 10 points
