Hardware /Software Required:

PC with Cisco Packet Tracer

Topology Diagram:

Topology Connection
1. Click the Network Device Icon and then Click Switches, Then Select 2960 Switch
available place in the logical window
2. Repeat step 1 for the place 4 more switches
3. Click the End Device Icon and then Click PC available place in the logical window
4. Repeat step 1 for the place 4 more PC
5. Click Connection and then click cross over cable and click on the switch zero and
choose the fast ethernet port 0/0 and drag to the switch 1 and connect to the fast
ethernet port 0/0 and similarly do the wiring connection to al the switch.
6. Once again Click Connection and then click cross over cable and click on the switch
zero and choose the fast ethernet port 0/1 and drag to the PCO and connect to the fast
ethernet port 0 and repeat the step for remaining PC Connections
Simulation Procedure
7. Click on the Simulation Panel tab available at the right corner of logical window
8. Provide IP address for all the PC’s by clicking on PC>Desktop->IP Configuration->
10.1.1.1. Similarly enter for the other PC’s as 10.1.1.2 to 10.1.1.5
9. Click on Add PDU and the Click PCO and then choose the destination PC3
10. Repeat the step for choosing PC1and then choose the destination PC as PC4
11. Click Run Button in the Play Control and Observe the Output.
