What is mental health? Mental health is a state of mental well-
being that enables people to cope with
stresses of life.
What is emotional health? Emotional health refers to how a
person is able to manage their
thoughts, feelings, and emotional.

our thoughts, feelings and actions,
particularly when faced with life’s
challenges and stresses.
There are 6 dimensions of health Ma’am! The 6 dimensions are Physical,
Who can name it? Anyone in the class? Environmental, moral-spiritual, Social,
Mental, and Emotional.

For your understanding what is stress? Stress is how we react when we feel
under pressure or threatened.

Stress is an individual response to
demands or pressures brought about by
internal or external factors that may
cause mental tension, anxiety, or worry.
Stress is inevitable in life. People
response to stress in different ways.
Situations or factors that triggers stress
are what we called stressors.
Stressor refers to the things that make a
person stressed.
Stressors can be big or small, they also
come and go but sometimes they stay.
They are also caused by internal or
external factors.
How a person response to stress
determines his/her stress level or stress
tolerance.
As a student how do you cope your
stress?
To cope with stress, you should first
understand the stressors that trigger
such as response. Understanding
stressors is the first step in managing
stress.
As adolescence what are the usual things
that stresses you? Changes in my body’s ma’am.
How do this stressors affect your life?
We have 2 types of stress I feel like ashamed, and I feel like

Stress has 2 categories, positive and

We have what we called eustress it is a
positive stress because it motivates the
person to continue, move on, and do
things to be happy and productive. This
good stress energizes the person and
makes him/her perform well or do better
either his/her job or in academics. When
life’s stress doesn’t longer make the
person happy. This kind of stress is called
Distress, this gives a negative impact on a
person’s life particularly on his/her
health. Bad stress is distress happens
when the persons stressors overwhelmed
him/her. This type of stress can lead to
mental and physical health problems
such as depression, anxiety, panic attack,
fatigue, and burn out. When it comes to
not treated it well or when it is not
treated, this can also cause a person to
develop unhealthy habits such as
drinking, smoking, and binge eating.
