lives can be reduced. He believes this because it can affect worker’s opportunities to get
promotions or they can even lose their jobs. On the other hand, people who works five days
can be considered for management jobs since they require a high level of responsibility,
constantly, and not only four day per week.
Education has evolved and developed over the last years. The current educational model has
realized the importance and impact that extracurricular activities have in students’
development. In my opinion, social activities and sports are just as important as academic
activities. I believe this for two reasons, which are that students need and integral education
and opportunities beyond the academic.

To begin with, sports help students to get an integral education. Students who practice sports
in a daily basis are more likely to performance better than other students. They have learnt to
organize their time in order to be responsible. For instance, plenty of universities in all the
globe offer scholarships for athletic students. This is because they know that great results can
be expected from this kind of students. Therefore, these activities need more support from the
universities in order to benefit both students and the institution.

Secondly, social activities can allow students novel opportunities. Students that are related
with activities, which are not totally focused in their area of study, have more chances to get
involved in situations which help them to grow as people. With these kind of activities they will
learn leadership, being one of the most important traits in our current society. For example,
my university organized a project to plant some trees. My roommate decided to join this
project and he was in charge to plan all the goods and resources they were needing. One of
the people in charge noticed his enthusiasm and offered a job in his company.

In conclusion, academic activities within universities are not the only ones responsible in
students’ development. I am of the opinion that activities such as sports and social events can
get a different approach in students’ evolving. This is because they help them to get an integral
education and create unique opportunities to succeed.

been added at least 100 years after the painting was originally painted. She explains that it

Finally, the reading says that the panel’s painting is made of several pieces of wood. This
characteristic is not common in Rembrandt’s work. Meanwhile, the lecturer states that the fur
collar was added together with the extra wood panels. Actually, the original wood panel where
the painting was made matches with the panel from another famous Rembrandt painting,
suggesting that they are from the same tree and therefore, both are Rembrandt’s paintings.
Friendship is one of the most important aspects in everyone’s lives. As people get old, it is
impossible not to meet new people. In my opinion, making new friends is more important than
keeping the old ones. I believe this because our interests change with time and meeting new
people means new opportunities.

To begin with, children’s aspirations and dreams change as they get older. Growing up is
something inevitable, it is not limited to physical changes but also mental ones. as we grow up,
we become more aware of world’s reality and what we really want for ourselves. For instance,
I wanted to be a professional soccer player as child. All my friends, back then, wanted
something similar. However, I am currently studying data science in college, which had made
difficult to keep in contact with my old friends. Instead, I have made several friends, who have
similar interest than mines and they will help me to achieve my new life goals.

Next, meeting new people is always a new opportunity. There are plenty of cases where one
person can change drastically our lives. In order to improve ourselves, we need to take those
opportunities. Although is hard to let the past go, we cannot make sure it is not for the best.
My personal experience is a compelling example of this. When I was doing my sophomore
year, I met a guy in one of my classes. At the beginning, I thought that we had nothing in
common, but when I gave him a chance to be friends, we really made a connection. Currently,
we started a business together, which would not have been possible if I had not taken the risk
to meet him.

In conclusion, friends always play an important role in our lives. I am of the opinion that the
opportunity to meet someone new and begin a friendship is unique and there is nothing more
important. It is because, as we get older our goal changes and it can open the door to great
opportunities.
