This research is dedicated to our schoolmates especially to our teachers for they are the

ones who are more affected by the block scheduling JSMJC has.

We, the researches would like to express our gratitude to our English Language Arts 10

teacher as well as our adviser for giving us the chance to learn and study the insights and

perceptions of JSMJC students about the block scheduling of classes.

Lastly, we would like to dedicate this research to God for giving us the strength,

wisdom, and knowledge to make this study possible.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research is to know and study the perceptions of students about the

block scheduling of classes in JSMJC. This research used the checklist type of survey as its

research instrument which consists of 10 questions only. The study also provides the results of

the said survey responded by the chosen respondents which were the selected 20 students from

grade 9 – Gold.

The outcome of the research explains the thoughts and viewpoints of the respondents

about the research topic through the tabulated gathered data which was used to sort some kind

of findings or its conclusion. It stated that 90% of the respondents said that the alternate block

scheduling model is easier, more convenient, and much better than the traditional one.
