education is widely utilized in the United States, and the Aquino
administration has launched an initiative to adapt it in the Philippines.

from this program. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this
system?

The K–12 curriculum offers numerous benefits to all Filipino


students. One of these is improving our minds and talents, which can
help us choose the path we want to take in life and possibly lead to

in that it allows them plenty of time to study important academic


subjects and prepares them to compete with students throughout the
world, but it also has disadvantages. The majority of Filipinos are

From my prespective, I believe that K–12 will offer the
Philippines and the younger generation a better educational program.
In addition, we hope that curriculums will help the younger generation
in discovering or focusing their options for higher education. From the

view the world, one of the advantages of having an education is that it
will open your mind to new ideas.
