Rattan speaker is a type of speaker that will not require the use of electricity to work or
function. A handmade sound amplifier that enables you to share your music through passive
sound amplification. It is merely a product that will help to increase the sound of your phone
and act as an extension. It will hold your phone while playing a music to amplify the sound. It
will be mostly made out of rattan which is a common source of income here in Calulut, City of
San Fernando Pampanga.

The proponents will use value-based pricing in creating their selling price for the product
rattan speaker. Value-based pricing is a strategy of setting prices primarily based on a
consumer's perceived value of a product or service. Pricing is focused on the customer's
perceived product benefits rather than the exact cost of product production. Value pricing is
consumer-focused pricing, meaning businesses base their pricing on how much a product is
worth to the customer.
The reason why the proponents chose the value-based pricing is that the price reflects
the value to the customer, not simply the seller's cost. The proponents want to create a high-
value product that will satisfy its customers.

Place

The distribution strategy that the proponents will use is direct distribution. Where in
Direct distribution is a supply chain strategy that transports products directly from the producer
to end consumers without any intermediaries. This concept applies when the producer takes
the product directly to the consumer with its own transport and logistics network. With the
direct distribution, the proponents can create relationships with its customers. Proponents can
also respond to customers’ feedback and product performance. It can also help the proponents
to collect valuable data from the customer to build value-based pricing.

Promotion

In promoting the rattan speaker, the proponents will use advertising as a promotion
strategy. It also uses digital media through the use of the internet and social media platforms.
The proponents will use the promotion to increase awareness, create interest, generate sales,
or create brand loyalty. Creating promotions to the product can increase awareness to the
target market of the proponents.

Production Worker

 experience in production or manufacturing setting
 Is familiar with all production safety procedures and guidelines.

Process

The business will work every Monday to Saturday and Sunday will be the rest day of its
employees. The work hours are 8 o'clock in the morning to 5 o'clock in the afternoon and they
have a 1-hour break. In terms of producing the product, the production workers will assemble
the materials to make the Rattan Speaker. After that, the product manager will check the
finished product of the production workers. If the product has a defect or damage it will return
to the production workers to be fixed. The finished product approved by the product manager
will be displayed in the store. Lastly, when assessing the customers, the sales staff will be in
charge. They will be liable for processing orders, selling the product, and getting feedback from
the customers.

the world stage more innovative products showcasing the craftsmanship of Filipinos,
particularly from the Visayas islands. The company was founded in 2012 incorporated in July
2013 as a design enterprise focused on bringing music to everyday life, engaging people to
“press play for the love of music.” The Loudbasstard is one of the competitors of Eco Buzz
because they have the same product but different raw materials.

EcoSpeaker, handmade bamboo speakers made by locals from Benguet Province. It
provides convenient solutions that will enhance your audio experience with your mobile device
without the use of electricity. It is one of the competitors of Eco Buzz for the same reason
stated above which is having the same product, the handmade speaker, but using different
main raw materials.

IV. Contingency Planning

- if a disaster occurs, can be natural or man-made the business will secure its employees’ safety
so that after the disaster they can go back immediately to the work without any injuries.

- shortage of raw materials can cause a problem to the production, so having at least three or
more suppliers is one of the backup plans of the proponents

- data loss can cause an issue to the company; the proponents will create a backup file that
both owners of the company can have it so if one of them loses it they will have a backup.
