'Young minds forever reign’ with this vison of bringing change in youth, Bharti
Public School is back with the fourth edition of Model UN 2022. It would give me
immense pleasure and a sense of pride to collaborate once again with the UN
information centre of India and Bhutan. We provide you with a unique opportunity
to take initiative in combating problems on an individual level, thereby moving
from a basic classroom discussion to a richer platform. Along with knowledge of
the world we live in, participants will develop skills including public speaking,
presentation, persuasion, situation analysis, research, and critical thinking. We are
thrilled to welcome you all to "Unfold your infinite potential” which aims at
fostering the impressionable spirits of young minds and educate them to be their
better selves. Not only this, but also, we celebrate the fact that each student is
different, not only as a person, but also, as a learner. This conference will draw
attention towards meaningful discussions on a variety of ongoing global issues.
Extending my heartfelt felicitations to all, I anticipate that you have a rewarding
conference and believe that your resolutions will contribute to a brighter future. Be

MESSAGE FROM THE
SECRETARIAT
Dear delegates, spectators and distinguished guests;
It is with immense pleasure that we welcome you to the fourth
edition of The Bharti Public School Model United Nations
Conference. This year it's all about change and this generation
has the proficiency to do it. To quote Bill Clinton,“Today’s
generation of young people holds more power than any
generation before it to make a positive impact on the world. ”
The smallest of actions can topple entire empires and we hope
to change the world, one resolution at a time. Building on past
success, BPSMUN strives to offer an unparalleled premium
experience for all the participants. We hope to shed light on
the true educational capability of Model UN. With great
ardour we would like to introduce the committees for
BPSMUN2022; UNGA, UNCSW, AIPPM and Stakeholders’
meet, headed by the most dexterous EB members and a
meritorious panel of International Press. We hope to provide
you with a stage to voice your opinions and to hear and be

ABOUT COMMITTEES AND
AGENDAS
UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY
AGENDA : Strategic deliberation on the Russian-Ukrainian crisis with
respect to it being a hot or a cold war.
The UN General Assembly (UNGA) is the main policy-making organ of the
Organization. Each of the 193 Member States of the United Nations has an
equal vote. Conquering the world's attention , the 2022 Russian invasion of
Ukraine has become the hottest debatable topic. One of the many questions
arise is whether the warfare is a proxy war or a direct action. The delegates will
intake a deep knowledge of the series of past events linked with the present
tensions.

UNITED NATIONS COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN

AGENDA : Countering violent extremism against women with special
emphasis on reviewing the situation under the Taliban regime.
The Commission on the Status of Women is a functional commission and is one
of the main UN organs within the United Nations. 'A woman who hears, is the
one who bears' . An extremist movement built by the Talibans under their reign
from 1996-2001 in the provinces of Afghanistan made women undergo
violation of their basic rights , myriad crimes and painful days. The delegates
will search in depth to sense the gravity of the issue.

ALL INDIA POLITICAL PARTIES MEET

AGENDA : The deteriorating secularism in India with respect to the
majoritarian moves taken by the incumbent government.
All India Political Parties Meet is a meeting between all the political parties of the
nation. This committee aims to arrive at a consensus before the parliaments’
sessions begin. Secularism is a religion that has no priests, no mumbling, no
ceremonies, no falsehoods and no miracles. The old and irrational beliefs of the
people in the modern societies have planted seeds for violent, aggressive and
immature movements. The root causes of discrepancies could be addressed
through the committee.

STAKEHOLDERS’ MEET
AGENDA: Discussing the current trajectories of sustainable youth
entrepreneurship.
A stakeholder meeting is a strategic event for introducing stakeholders to
each other, gaining and sharing ideas and incentives for a subject.
'Entrepreneurship was once a concept but now a practice'. Storming the
market with their giant business programs, the young entrepreneurs are
breaking new grounds. At this very moment , it is indeed indispensable to
enlighten the youth of today about the future of tomorrow

INTERNATIONAL PRESS
'The press is the voice of the public' . It speaks for the people and captures what
is being said for them. Here in BPSMUN, the media captures amazing
committees, summarizes their issues and even holds press conferences to cross-
question them. Thus, it binds the event and the committees.

CONFERENCE DETAILS

DATES : 5th and 6th November

VENUE : Bharti Public School, Swasthya Vihar, Delhi
ELIGIBILITY : School students of standard VII-XII are
eligible to participate.
DRESS CODE :
The dress code for the first day is Western Formal Wear.
The dress code for the second day is Indian Formal Wear.
LANGUAGE : English shall be the official and working
language of the conference. AIPPM being the exception.
AWARDS : The discretion of the awards of a committee rests
with the Executive Board of that committee. The decision of
the Executive Board with respect to awards will be final
binding.
REGISTRATION FEES :
Individual Delegate: Rs 2100/-
IP Member: Rs 1900/-
School Delegation: Rs 1900/- (Minimum 10 delegates)
Dual Delegation: Rs 3900/-
