Course Sections and Enrollment

○ One section per course per instructor
○ Section name: Course title w/ semester + teacher email address

● Key things to teach/remind students
○ Please do the units and assignments/assessments in order! This is the best way to learn the material.
○ You must complete all activities and earn 70% on each assignment/assessment to earn credit for a unit. Check your scores for
anything below 70.
○ All work must be done in your own words - our plagiarism policy applies here!
○ Each time you stop working: Save & Exit (do this every 30 minutes minimum)
○ If your internet signal is not reliable, you will lose your work
○ When working on longer assignments/activities, it’s helpful to draft them in a Google Docs then paste your work into Edmentum to
avoid lost work
○ If a test is passed, the box turns green, but that doesn’t mean the module is done. Make sure you have also completed the tutorial.
○ Please only submit work as Word files, PDFs, or using Google Docs - we cannot open files created using Pages (Mac). PDFs are our
favorite!
■ Save then upload! Make sure it’s not the template but the completed assignment
■ Submit for scores, not for review
○ Resets
■ Mastery Tests - review tutorial, this will reset the test for you
■ Post Tests - you will test at the center, request resets with your teacher

○ No weights - each item is worth 100 points
○ Use Gradebook & Grade Calculator to calculate the unit grade then add to the whiteboard
○ Once you have pared down the unit, lock the entire unit.
■ Student cannot reset Mastery Tests and possibly change grades
■ If you see a unit is done AND it’s all locked, you know you’ve entered it

○ Whiteboard
○ Bubble Page (of the unit you are claiming, all bubbles must be filled in to show completion)
○ 4 pages of work
○ Be sure that you remove headers/footers from printouts
○ 1st unit must be graded - can be graded by hand (1 comment per page)
