I’m a very famous actor because I’m a superhero in a big film.


I work hard every day.

I get up at 5 a.m. and I go to the gym. I run for an hour before I


have breakfast! I have a very big breakfast. I eat six eggs on toast.
Next, I drive to the studio. I put on my superhero trousers and cape
and start work at 9am. I do karate all day. I take photos with my fans.

Hello, my name is Hana. Welcome to my city!

I live in a small city in Japan. My city’s name


is Otaru. It’s next to the sea. There are big
mountains in Otaru where you can go skiing,
so there’s always something fun to do.

In the city, there’s a beautiful river, and there are boats on


the river. In the winter, it snows and it’s beautiful. I love the
winter but my favourite season is the spring. There are a lot
of trees in Otaru and they blossom in the spring. It’s amazing.

There are more than 100,000 people in my city and in the


summer there are a lot of tourists. Because there are a lot
of tourists, there are a lot of hotels and restaurants too.
There is fantastic sushi. There are ten museums, twenty
schools and two universities in Otaru, but there isn’t an airport.
If you want to come to my city, you can take the bus!

Hi there, my name is Aurora! I had a great holiday last week.


We didn’t go away - we stayed at home. We had so much fun!

On Monday, we played football in the park. My team won.


My grandmother scored the winning goal! We had ice-cream and
my dog stole mine!

On Tuesday, we went to the aquarium. We saw fish and seahorses.


We learnt about the ocean and all the animals that live there.

On Wednesday, I went to the cinema with my friends. We saw a really funny film

afternoon, I made a cake for her too. Why? Because Friday was her birthday!
In the evening, I went to my grandmother’s house and read my
book with her.

On Friday, my friends came to my house for a party. We had a barbecue


in the garden, and we played board games. We ate cake and drank a lot
of lemonade. It was a really fun party. Then, I did all my homework on
Friday so I was ready for school.

Now, I’m back at school and I’m excited to hear about my friends’ holidays, too!
