Question: Can you Guide us about Graduation?

Answer:
• Doing B. Com / Graduation is not mandatory for being CA. However, we
Strongly recommend students to do B. Com. internally with college affiliated to
university recognised by Law.
• B. Com can be done externally directly by taking admission with university.
However, in future if you wish to pursue post-graduation from some foreign
university then you need education of 15 years. External B. Com is not counted
in this.
• Normally studies of B.com course can be easily managed by students while
doing CA Course. It does not add to burden.

Question: Why B. Com and Why not BBA? Can I do Company Secretary Course
along with CA?
• Only One Course in addition to CA Course is allowed during Articleship.
• Official Timings of college & Location of Other Course and Articleship must not
conflict with each other. College must end on or before 11 am. College must be
within 40 km of CA Office.
• ICAI gives permission only for One Course in addition to CA Course (e.g.,
Graduation) on submission of Form No. 112. This form is required to be
submitted on commencement of Articleship with signature of CA and College
Principal.
• You should take College considering place where you want to do articleship
and provision about timings.
• Normally BBA or BCA or other course timings clash with Articleship.
• Considering above you cannot do CA and CS simultaneously but may purse any
course along with CA after you finish off with B.Com. We don’t recommend this.
Finish your CA first and then do whatever you want.

Question: What about attendance in colleges?

Answer: You must answer this question on your own. Consult your seniors. Have
informal talk with college staff and faculty members and then decide college.

Question: Are there any Benefits to Students playing any of the Sports while
