INTRODUCTION
The trouble shooting guide helps to analyze the failure when disturbances are occurring and
describe the way how to proceed to repair the failure. The guide includes several parts con-
cerning the different sub-components being part of the GeN2 system.
The different parts of the trouble shooting guide are listed below.

Part Title

1 Elevator status and failure classification

2 Trouble shooting flow chart

Visual check on the E & I – Panel

 LED’s
3
 SDI
 Service buttons

4 Manual Rescue Operation (MRO)

5 Failures handling on the service operation (SPBC)

6 Failures handling on the operating system (TCBC)

7 Failures handling on the drive system (MCBIII)

8 Failures handling on the door system (DCSS5)

9 Glossary

10 Feedback reports for root cause analysis including:

 Elevator status
 Error logging list
 Parameter list (MCBIII, TCBC, DCSS5)

In case of failures which are not handled in this document and if the trouble is not located, then:

 Fill out the event logging report for: TCBC and/or MCBIII and/or SPBC and/or DCSS5
 Note all remarks concerning the disturbance
 Send the report back for root cause analysis
