MSK Operation (Start-up)
1. Controller Installation
Install the controller, LCRD(Regen Drive), ARO & EIP according to a shop drawing.

3.2. Check the Motor Cable and make sure the shield layer properly connected on both
ends of the cable.
Attention: Must put the shield layer out of cable skin and use clamps to fasten
shield layer of the cable.
Attention: The cable of rotary encoder must be separated with motor 3 phases
cable and the each wire of the encoder cable must be twisted.

Procedure Location
Remove P102C, P4M, & P104C from factory GECB AP-IO
Connect P102C & P4M to LSD cable after checking
cable number (Type: Wago connector)
Connect P102C, P4M, connectors to controller GECB AP-IO
Connect P104C (jumper connector) GECB AP-IO
Connect 2H (jumper connector) Field panel

Put the jumper bridge so that Inspection (or INS) is right position as following
drawing (DW LED of GECB will be on)

4.3. Install safety box and connect as following table for the safety chain.
5. Start-up (MSK)
Measure 3 phases voltage & neutral at the line side of OCB after switching on
building power.
Measure 3 phases voltage & neutral at the line side of OCB after switching on OCB.

Check the volt after removing P1H & P101C, connect back after measurement.

Check LED condition of SPBC board (After convert to ERO mode and switching
on OCB.

Note:
The battery is charged by SPBC. For full charging, at least 8 hours shoul be
charged.
In case of power failure, battery will be discharged by the command of
SPBC_III.
If the power supply is cut for long period (>6hours), disconnect the battery
temporarily.

6. Parameter setup
6.1. Parameter of GECB & GDCB will be set by the factory. However setting values are
required to check before real operation.

During LRT operation, noise will come out from the motor,
but it is normal. And it won’t be conducted in normal operation.
If error is detected (Brake drop), it will be conducted.
The system is normal but a car is not moved even with up/down signal:
7.2. After RE calibration, the car direction should be checked by pressing pendant
switch whether the direction is correct.
