“Relationship between long exposure to mobile phone and increased risk of damage to
Senior High School students in St. Michael’s School of Madrid Inc.”

INTRODUCTION

Mobile or cell phones are nowadays an integral part of modern telecommunications in


every individual life. In many countries, over half of the population use mobile phones and the
mobile phone market is growing rapidly (Naeem, 2014). Mobile phones are becoming an
essential need rather than a want especially for the 21st century generations who are mostly the
common users of it. By definition, mobile phone is a telephone with access to a cellular radio
system so it can be used over a wide area, without a physical connection to a network. Meaning
these are advantageous and has a role in our daily lives. As billions of people around the world
use mobile phones everyday, there is a big chance to the increasing effects on health
implications. The length of each call and message, and the amount of time people are into their
mobile phones are factors affecting the health related risk.

Students are affected by the prolong exposure and radiation of smart phones
