 Masaru Emoto, born in Yokohama in Japan in 1943, is
perhaps one of the most famous water experts based on
his self-developed water crystal photography. He gradua-
ted in Humanity and Sciences, focussing on International
Relations, from the University of Yokohama. In 1992, he
was awarded the title of doctor for Alternative Medicine
from the Open International University, Sri Lanka, for the
successful application of his knowledge for the benefit of
people in need.
Today his books have been translated into over 47 lan-
guages and have become international bestsellers. In his

books he demonstrates water crystals as a type of index

in pure, untreated water, for example, in many mains waters or in distilled water not
one single formation of crystals is able to develop. What is also extremely interesting
is the fact that the structure of the crystals changes as a result of different information

the water. Since 2004, the experiments have been expanded in the Hado Life Europe
laboratory in Liechtenstein.

This philosophical view that more is less also defines my perception of cosme-

Martina Gebhardt: What is you opinion on pure and natural cos-
metics?
Masaru Emoto: I believe that the word cosmetics comes
from cosmos. This would mean cosmetics should only con-
sist of substances which the oscillations of the universe have
directly influenced. This means these substances should not
be chemical products but come from pure and natural plants.
Martina Gebhardt: Why should we use natural cosmetics?
Masaru Emoto: If our skin always radiates from the inside out, it shows that the
HADO (the over-arching nature) is in perfect resonance. However, if we use cosme-
tics which consist of substances which are not resonant to HADO, sooner or later
the skin will become unbalanced and develop abnormal symptoms.
Martina Gebhardt: How important is good water in cosmetics?
Masaru Emoto: It is important to use water which displays small molecular structures,
the so-called Microcluster water. This water is very pure and therefore allows our skin to
become pure.
Martina Gebhardt: What do you think about beauty?
Masaru Emoto: I believe that the entirety of all concrete forms which produce this
magnificent nature as a product creates beauty. And I also believe that the individual
criteria according to which beauty is assessed, is the same for all human beings. There-
fore I also think that it is ultimately the strive for beauty which creates peace in the
world and which preserves what is wonderful in nature.

Calamus is a plant which is frequently around us but which has nevertheless
almost been forgotten. We find it at the banks of small lakes and rivers or in
marshland, where it stands inconspicuously with bullrushes, reeds, iris and purp-

Calamus originally came to us in Europe from the North of India through ay-

 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
In the morning, use the tonic after cleansing to refresh and revi-
talise the skin. Pat it in well so that the skin‘s circulation is stimu-
lated. The cream is then massaged into the still slightly damp skin.
You only need a small amount. If you would like the cream to have
a lighter consistency, put a pea-size drop of both the cream and
the milk in your hand, rub both together and apply the mixture.
In the evening you generally only need the cleansing milk. Massage this
into the moistened skin and remove the rest with luke-warm water
again. The cleansing milk re-moisturises and is sufficient as an over-night
protection. The skin should be able to breathe at night. This means sweat
and waste products should be able to reach the surface of the skin unhin-
dered. In this way, your skin stays healthy and finds its natural balance again.
Note: In principle, we do not use any standardised raw materials, the-
refore the fragrance, colour and consistency can change slightly. This is
not a quality defect but evidence of the consequent use of natural raw
materials. Avoid temperatures over 25°C and under 2°C. Under heat,
the skin cream may deposit some oil. This does not reduce the quality of
