Definition of Terms

Business is defined as the “a usually commercial or mercantile

activity engaged in as a means of livelihood” by Merriam Webster

Dictionary (2010).

In this paper, the term business is used to mean “a livelihood

that focuses on the exchange of goods and services.”

Consumer is defined as the “one that utilizes economic goods” by

Merriam Webster Dictionary (2010).

In this paper, the term consumer is used to mean “informants who

shop online using Shopee.”

Experience is defined as the “practical knowledge, skill, or practice

derived from direct observation of or participation in events or in a

particular activity” by Merriam Webster Dictionary (2010).

In this paper, the term experience is used to means” what the

costumers underwent with the services provided by Shopee.”

Online Shopping is defined as the “online shopping is a form of

electronic commerce which allows consumers to directly buy goods or

services from a seller over the Internet using a web browser” by

Definition.net (2001).

In this paper, the term online shopping is used to mean “the

services provided by Shopee to its consumers.”

In this paper, the term services used to mean “the store providing

the services to the consumer who shops online.”

Shopee is defined as the “leading e-commerce platform in Southeast

Asia and Taiwan. It is a platform tailored for the region, providing

customers with an easy, secure, and fast online shopping experience

through strong payment and logistical support” by LinkedIn (2020).

In this paper, the term Shopee used to mean “the online store the

study focuses on.”
