Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning. They may provide extra support
during or after a teacher’s lesson. They may also lead small group activities, allowing the teacher to
support students in other ways.
Work with the special education department and also worked in Access.
While working under limited supervision, I provided hands-on care to individuals with varying
degrees of mental illnesses and/or developmental disabilities in the Geriatric Psychiatric Ward
of the facility. I took part in the planning and implementation of patient treatment plans and
assisted patients with personal grooming and other activities of daily living. As well as
conducting educational, recreational and therapeutic activities and provided support services
for the residents on the ward.
While working without immediate supervision, I provided direct care to the residents of the
home by following resident!s individual plan of care and policy and procedures, which
emphasized non-aversive, positive programming and interactions. Provided support services for
the residents and the facility. Transported/accompanied residents to school, meals, and
activities, operated facility vehicles as qualified and required. Completed required
administrative and client paperwork. I was also responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance
of the home property and vehicle.
Walmart Supercenter
Belk
Exuding a friendly personality, sound communications skills and brand knowledge, I answered
questions about merchandise, sales, and services, retrieved items from shelves and back
storage areas, and operated cash registers as needed, on a busy and fast-paced sales floor. As a
team player, I also took the initiative to accept additional responsibilities within my assigned
area and other areas of the store which included working with promotional signage, inventory
control and other non-sell duties.
I provided excellent customer service, by efficiently and accurately completing sales and service
transactions as well as by handling customer issues on the sales floor to ensure the customer!s
experience was enhanced. I leveraged technology in order to facilitate the customers"!
experience by educating them on various company programs and policies, and executed
consistent operational and selling processes. As a result, I was consistently recognized for
exemplary sales performance.
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization, I oversee and mentor more than
100 young men from various educational and socioeconomic backgrounds; all while promoting
academic and social achievements. I model responsible behavior by intervening in high-risk
situations and challenging students"!decision-making, when necessary. I ensure that the
activities of the organization reflect favorably on each student, their family and the community.
