The Midterm exam is a practical exam. You need to

secure a computer with MS Word and do the
following:
1. Open a new MS word.

2. Save it in your family name followed by your section.

For example, Sojor-Comp-3-A.

3. Add header. The header is your full name and your email.

For example, Jose K. Sojor sojor2022@yahoo.com

4. Add page numbers to the footer (bottom of the page). The

numbering as following:

• First sheet (Title page) has NO numbering.

• Sheet two, three and four (Table of content, Acknowledge and
Dedication) will be using Roman numbering (i, ii, iii).
• Sheet five, six, seven and eight (Main body) will be using Arabic
numbering (1,2,3,4).

5. In the document (Main body) you need to answer the

following questions

1) Identify the operating system and MS Office that you are using for
this test. 2) Write at least three paragraphs about you and your place.
Each paragraph should have at least 10 sentences.
3) Add a table to your document. Then insert a caption to the table.

4) Add a selfie while doing this exam. Insert a caption on the image.
5) Insert SmartArt. Insert a caption on the image.
6) Insert Screenshot from the computer you are using. Insert a caption
on the image.
7) Insert one online video. Insert a caption on the image of the video.

8) Insert one mathematical equation.

9) Show that you know how to insert citations and references.

6. Also, in this exam you will be tested on your knowledge in

adding and Reviewing Commands.

1) You need to add three “New comments” to the text.

2) Using “Track Changes”, you should need to delete any five words Commented [SK1]: Say some thing

7. Insert the following:

Sheet One:

The title will be your name and your course. (Font: Tahoma. Font Style: Bold,
Size: 18)

Sheet Two:

• Table of contain.
• Table of images and table of Tables.

Sheet Three:

• Acknowledgment

Sheet Four:

• Dedication

Sheet Five, Six and Seven:

• The body

Sheet Eight:

• The References.

8. Create an Envelope page.

9. convert the file to a PDF file.

10. You need to upload your files in MS Word format (Docx) and pdf format.

Reminder:
1. No removal exam.

2. Late submissions for any reason will not be accepted. (Why? The official time
for the exam is 2 hours, I gave you one week to complete the exam. That’s why
no excuses for delaying the submission)
